Then support us in Munich with max. 20 hours per week as a working student in our team "Credit Risk Analysis & Advisory" at UniCredit Bank GmbH.

The "Analysis & Advisory" team and the "Credit Risk Projects & Analysis" department are the hub for data, analyses, and innovative credit risk projects at UniCredit Bank GmbH. We use big data, advanced analytics, machine learning techniques, and business intelligence solutions. In this way, we increase efficiencies and uncover previously inaccessible information in a standardized, transparent, and addressee-friendly manner. We actively support the digital transformation of the entire UniCredit Group, from identifying use-cases for interactive visualizations, through evaluation and implementation to roll-out for users. We work in close collaboration with other departments of the bank, UniCredit Holding, and its other legal entities.

What you'll be doingDaily handling of big data volumes, coding the extraction and visualization of information. Supporting the automation of our Credit Risk processes via dashboards and development of impact analyses. Overview on the latest regulation topics of banking supervision and supporting the efficient and agile application of these rules. Applying innovative methods for data analytics. Daily activities could comprise data analysis/processing, code implementation and testing, evaluation and analysis, providing standardized solutions, and especially information visualization.

What you'll need to succeedAcademic background in a quantitative field such as computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline. Practical experience with databases (SQL) is necessary, and knowledge of at least one programming language is an advantage (Python, SAS, Power Query). Basic experience with data visualization – ideally Business Intelligence software (i. e. PowerBI/DAX, SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau, etc. ). Interest in working within heterogeneous data and system landscapes. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve and structure complex tasks. Relation to the financial sector/banking through specialization during studies, internship, or training would be beneficial.
