Workplace Organization Pillar Leader

The PME Specialist is a member of the central Head Quarter Continuous Improvement Team inside Manufacturing Function, which coordinates and supports the Pirelli Manufacturing Excellence worldwide.
The core objective is the development and successful implementation of the system, with focus on the continuous improvement and loss reduction in the production plants, to achieve significant cost savings, improve the flexibility of the factories and their service level.
**Responsibilities**:
- Developing and maintaining the standards and methods related to improvement technical streams (i. e.
workplace organization, focus improvement, material flow) and creating/maintaining the associated training material.
- Serving as a trainer about PME standards and methods inside the Pirelli Academy, in order to create an adequate level of competence in the Head Quarter and in the Factories.
- Providing the necessary support to the Plant Directors, technical stream leaders and improvement teams inside the factories, in order to successfully implement the standards and methods according to the PME Road Map, also through dedicated missions on site.
- Identifying good and best practices, together with the Stream leaders in the factories and promoting benchmark and their expansion to other factories, whenever convenient.
- Monitoring the progress of continuous improvement implementation and projects achievements.
- Serving as an assessor during the PME audits and assessment.
**Requirements**:
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or Supply Chain Management.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- Leader in the implementation of the PME worldwide, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Able to develop an adequate level of competence about the Company organization, production process and all PME technical streams, to support the successful implementation and the results of the PME as a whole.
- Sound understanding of Manufacturing Improvement Systems.
- Sound understanding of the Material Flow, Internal Logistics, Work Organization improvement methods and LEAN approach.
- Fluency in English and other languages used in the Pirelli factories worldwide (German, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Chinese) are considered a plus.
- Knowledge of Office Suite.
- Ability to work in international teams.
- Travelling flexibility.
- Experience in Logistics would be positively considered.
