We are looking for a Workshop Technician to join our Product Validation team, within Product Management & Engineering, supporting performance measurement and analysis for our 2 Stroke marine engines. The location for this position is in Trieste, Italy. Your role and responsibilities As a Workshop Technician , you will be involved in the preparation of engine components that will be installed on Test Rig Engines, as well as on Engines in exercise. Your work will include those responsibilities: Preparation of instrumented components. Analysis of technical specification and drawings. Use of machine tools. Use of welding machine. Use of equipment for metrological measurements. Use of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Requirements for the position Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on skills on machine tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill, etc. Knowledge of metrological measurements (e. g. micrometres; callipers). Knowledge of measurement techniques: temperature, pressure, flow, strain gauges, etc. is welcome, but not mandatory. An intermediate English level is required to read drawings and manuals.
